Why do we have a lot of DSL modem codes for customer to choose?

The reason is DSLAM in CO site (ISP) may have different DSL brands or different versions. Those may cause interoperability (IOP) issue between DSL modem and DSLAM. For example, DSL cannot synchronize well or cannot get high rate or high performance.

Therefore, we offer different modem codes for customer to try if they meet IOP problem. In general, we suggest using the standard one for most areas should be no problem in working with this version.

If you let me know your current exact model i will send you the link to get the ones i mentioned

Actually, I'm not going to bother with the Draytek - I plugged the Billion in, and my line speed went to just over 2Mbps. (it's limited at the ISP to that, as it becomes extremely flaky when the speed increases above)

So, quite pleased now - thanks for all your input though :-)

Well.. turns out after my 2nd ADSL line going in today that the Billion doesn't actually support load balancing!!!

GRRR!!

So.. I'm back to the Draytek - can you send me the link for the modem codes please?

Thanks very much!

Sorry to reply to my own posts!

Plugged the Draytek back in and getting the same speed as the Billion, so that's cool :-)

However, how can I configure DDNS in a load balancing scenario?

Cheers!
