I've raised a support ticket because, as far as I can determine, I'm not really doing anything special with my 2927. I am hitting a limit around 500Mbps (normally around 480MBps), but if I connect direct to the ONT then I'm getting 800Mbps+.

How is this being tested?

If connected directly to the ONT, the device would need a PPPoE client to establish the connection to your ISP and hence use your assigned IP Profile.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I connected my laptop direct to the ONT with (if memory serves) the Windows PPPoE client and got 800+, but I can't get more than 480 through the 2927.

I've tried the enabling and disabling of bits and bobs (it's a while ago now, so I forget the details, but I've followed the different recommendations). It's pretty much a bog standard config, so I can't think what is causing the problem.

Draytek took my config, and couldn't find an issue, and to investigate further they need to have remote access and I'm just not able to sync up a time when I'm around.

Gotcha. Other than setting the MTU on the PPPoE config page to 1500 bytes there's nothing else really to do.

I'm set to 1492. That's what the auto detect determines.
