Wow a topic from the past! I still didn't find a Draytek router that worked properly with BE*. I would still like to as the Netgear (whilst great) isn't as reliable as my old Draytek.

I dont know how true it is but someone told me who is supposed to be in the know about these things that the 2820 had a Broadcom chipset in there so it would be better for using services like BE where as the earlier modesl didn't.

But as i say i would still like to know if you can use the speedtouch 780 in bridge mode without hacing a double nat or anything like that.

yes it will work in bridge mode on be*. i had it going with my 2900vg. the speedtouch did lock up though every so often.
i've since changed to a 2820 which works fine on annex m (be* pro) and i'm getting about 19mb/2.4mb at about 660m from the exchange as the crow flies!

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4

I am with Be* and use the 2820n with latest 3.2.1 firmware

getting 5Mb on Be Pro - this is due to distance from the exchange... oh well - still reasonable speed for a rather long 1.5-2k line!

The 2820n sync's at the same speed as the BeBox

I am on Be Pro 24Mb with a static IP

My Settings:

WAN > General Setup > WAN1
Enabled: "Yes" - all other options defult

WAN > Internet Access > WAN1 > PPPoE/PPPoA
Disabled

WAN > Internet Access > WAN1 > MPoA (RFC1483/2684)
Enabled
Multi-PCV Channel - Channel 2
Encapsulation: 1483 Bridged IP LLC
VPI: 0
VCI: 101
Modulation: ADSL 2+(G992.5)

On mine, I have *NOT* enabled bridge mode (the welcome letter suggests that you do - but i found that it did not sync with it ticked), and have entered a static IP address, subnet and gateway as per the welcome letter

I have also left the DNS servers blank as I found the ones on the welcome letter failed to work.

WAN > Multi-PVCs
Disabled Channel 1
Ensured Channel 2 was enabled, set to MPoA protocol and 1483 Bridged IP LLC encapsulation

Hi,
I am about to migrate to Be There from Demon (after 13 years). I've a Draytek 2800VG with the latest firmware.

Has anyone had any experience getting this set-up working?

Thanks ... Andrew
