no. its really getting on my tits. i am now assuming it must be something to do with our shitty DC server. i am in the process of building a new 2008 r2 dc and decommissioning the old sbs 2003 server. i've already removed the crappy addins that come with sbs 2003 and thought that might do it but alas no.

whatever is stopping it from working, I'm blaming Small Business Server 2003 and it general crapness.

i have already added two new 2008r2 servers to the domain as when i took over the role we had a dc that was also a file server and an application server. i have removed everything from sbs 2003 bar the AD structure and exchange, however i'm looking to get our exchange hosted off site as its a pointless expense for us to outlay for 20 mail boxes.

need to get my finger out on this one, as i plan to rebuild AD from scratch instead of migrating from sbs 2003 to 2008r2.

So you built a whole new native 2008 domain - rather than any form of "swing" from the SBS box? Good that you can make that break.
