Basically I have 3 Locations ( main Office , secondary office and home )

I'd like to have a VigorBX 2000 in main office ( location A )

Secondary office has a Vigor 2860acv ( Location B )

could PSTN line in location B get transferred to Location A ( VigorBX 2000 )

I've been sat with Gigaset Hybird 120 PBX, Gigaset Maxwell 10 , Gigaset DX800a, Cisco SPA232D and can't get anyone to setup even Professionals from Fiverr, and since setting up voip on draytek 2860acv is easy, i'm planning on replacing
Gigaset Hybird 120 with VigorBX 2000

Thanks

Your Vigor2860Vac can have its phone ports to be set up as extensions on the PBX (as one of its SIP accounts) and then you can transfer any call (SIP/Voip or the POTS line) at the BX2000 to the phone ports on the Vac just as you can to any other PBX extension (and make calls etc.) but you CANNOT transfer a call on the POTS line at your Vigor2860Vac because it's not a PBX and not an FXO port - it's just a failover port for the analogue phone ports on the router.

Yes, but seems a bit of a waste of the 'V' part of the Vac... and it may interfere with the SIP on the Vigor2860Vac unless you disable that... not sure. You can just use a regular DECT phone on the phone port.

I want to be able to transfer the POTS line from location B to location A ( VigorBX 2000 )

Basically I Run 2 guest houses ( location A and Location B )

The Mrs works in location A and wants to manage both locations , while staying professional answering phone calls for both locations i.e. If call originated from location b her phone would display with line and the callers ID if possible so she can answer with the correct guesthouse name, secondly want to be able to transfer calls to location C ( home ) in evenings and out of season ( Gigaset Dx800a )

Current equipment

Location A :
Vigor 2860
Gigaset Hybird PBX ( can't configure way to many settings and others have tried )
Gigaset Maxwell 10 ( replacement unit as previous software failed and still in box )
Gigaset DX800a ( currently used via Main phone line only )
Gigaset SL930A ( also currently used connected to DX800a - extra usage is Ring Video door bell app )

Location B:
Vigor 2860vac
Basic phone ( in use direct with phone line )
Cisco SPS232D with Dect phone ( won't Detect when pots rings etc )

Location C :

Will get DX800a from location A when I can get Gigaset maxwell 10 working with a pbx
