I guess this issue only occurs when using a static WAN ip, and that using DHCP for the WAN would result in the correct situation (ie the router taking care of DNS for the LAN and forwarding all non-local DNS onto the WAN DNS server), but I have a static IP from my ISP, so that's not an option.
i doubt we'll see any update from Draytek on this until Tuesday due to the bank holiday (not a complaint, just pointing it out!) so I'll hang tight until then and post back as and when I have any update.
