Dear all,
OK, I have had some feedback from Draytek. Please note. I am currently away on business and have not had chance to make the changes at the office. If someone wishes to verify this and post the results then that would be great.......
They have loaded up my configuration and simulated the issue. In short, my CALL filter (under firewall) was enabled and pointing to the same rule set as the DATA filter. This causes an issue in 3.3.4.1 which manifests itself as ADSL speed loss. A simple disable/amendment of the CALL filter and full speed is restored.
The CALL filter does not work in version 3.3.4 so this is why the issue has not reared its ugly head until the firmware upgrade.
If anyone has the slow ADSL issue and the capacity to try disabling the CALL filter and upgrading to 3.4.4.1 then I would be interested in the results.
Brad

If I change my call filter to be the same as my data filter....my speeds drop to about 2MB. Back on call filter 1 (default) speeds are normal.
I did however change my MTU to 1472 (using the ping testing method)

Thanks, John.
So, in essence, you agree that this does cause an issue?

It appears so. That and the MTU issue with the new firmware.
