Actually, what i just wrote does not make any sense! I thought I had later firmware but 3.8.4.6 IS the latest firmware according to where I downloaded it from:

So I am actually using what you've been tellijng me to use...doh! I used the 'all' version and then restored my 2830 backup (which has its own latest firmware).

3.8.4.6 is the latest UK formware.

.com will give you 3.8.5. I have noticed when they release the firmware in Taiwan, they normally test it in the UK, and it has been about six weeks, and still recommend 3.8.4.6-BT firmware. Use that.

do you still have external ping issues with that firmware?

Yes, am waiting on Draytek to answer that one unless you have any ideas?

So your on 3.8.4.6, and you cannot ping externally.

As for the other one, try stay with the 3.8.4.6 BT. What speeds are you getting on the line? Don't use ping, use Always on, and let me know how you get on. You may even have a line issue.

Draytek have asked me for screenshots so waiting to hear what they say. This is my current 'Line 1 ' speed:
