Yes you still need two giga lans. Get a 2925.

Thanks, bugger, I think there is also an issue with ADSL vs VDSL that Draytek have pointed out, 2830 doesn't support VDSL which I am assuming BT Infinity is...but Virgin Fibre is not....

Correct. Use a 2860, is probably the best bet.

Yep, came to that conclusion a couple of hours ago, purchased one from Misco and going to get a 'backup' from Ebay if the price is right. At least I *should* be able to export/import my 2830 settings...thank you for all your help with this!

Just one more thing, I have multiple options in use on my 2860. Upgrade the firmware first to 3.8.5. Mine updates, reboots, but I cannot resolve the user interface, unless I reset.
