OK, thanks to AdrianH54, tried the 00 version of the 3.8.5, and thus far have ZERO CRC's on the connection. Its running about 16.7Mbps, however with a attainable of 20, hoping that will creep up.. watch this space...

Non-Vector seems to solve the problem... also fewer hiatus's when browsing etc.

8 1/2 hours later - NO CRC's at all.. Previously this would have been in the hundreds...

Looks like the non-Vector firmware solves the problem... Now just want the speed to nudge up a bit to the attainable rate! (Interestingly upstream shows higher actual than attainable...)

Just out of interest, why do you expect your DS speed to increase? Mine only ever decreases, it never increases. For example my DS rate is currently 3000000 but "attainable rate" is showing as 35934500. 2 years ago they were around 38 and 42 respectively. All they ever do is go down. Like you, my US rate does vary and is frequently slightly above "attainable".
