Hi, i have been reading the forums for weeks now only to find i have cracked LPR printing. I tried all the ways recommended on the draytek lpr setup site with no success. Here's how i got i up and running - Windows XP Pro only though, havent tried 98, XP Home etc.
Goto Control Panel then double click network connections.
Goto Advanced (on File, edit taskbar) and select Optional Networking Components.
Select Other Networking File and Print Components, then click Details
tick option for Print Services for Unix and select OK. You will need your XP disc to install.
If you have already installed the printer goto your printer properties, Ports Tab and select Add Port. Select LPR Port from the list and New Port.
Enter your IP Address of the Vigor router in the Name or address of server providing lpd: and enter p1 in the Name of printer or print queue on that server then click OK. You will find a long delay after clicking ok due the conneciton being mmde to the router.
You should eventually find the port appear as the IP adresss (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:p1) in the list. Turn off enable bidirectional support and print a test page.

You don't need to install Print Services for Unix to do the rest of that.
