hp business inkjet 1100 with Vigor 2900VG
works okay but after I'd ...
- unchecked bi-directional support & set queue name to p1 on local PC printer set-up
Then I
- stopped router, stopped printer, waited 30 secs
- started printer, waited for a while again, started router
Lastly I unplugged USB cable (printer light was unlit) and plugged in again (printer light came on) .... and finally a printout.[/b]

Extremely slow to actually produce the first sheet (minutes). BUT IT DOES WORK.
 I tried (manual) double sided for a laugh. Failed so far. Ought to be controlled by XP drivers and leaving printing as unintelligent activity. Don't expect that to work either.
Will investigate further (Hmm and it's a scanner too. Don't expect that to work given my previous experience of non jetdirect networked printer ports). If only JD interfaces were as cheap as chips

Prints a treat. Ink/paper status not available, as described elsewhere (I always see "printer not responding"). Setup for Windows XP Home and Pro exactly as described in the FAQ.

just tried my new cannon laser shot lbp-1120 - no joy. No errors but sadly no printout either. Works fine when connected to the PC. Not very good draytek

I have setup and configured:
Dell 1700 Mono Laser Printer
Samsung CLP-500 Colour Laser
on a 2600gi ADSL router. Both work perfectly.
