VPN's Die f/w 3.3.2.1_232201 was created by iamq-yesiam
Since upgrading to firmware 3.3.2.1_232201 on a 2820n a problem has been noted.
A Win XP VPN client connects into remote draytek (2600) as a ppp user everything is fine. After a while there is no data flow via the VPN although the link is up at both ends.
This only happened following the upgrade to the local end where the XP client lives.
I'm running wireshark on it at the moment, but there appears to be no pattern to when the data stream dies or why. Disconnect & reconnect with the XP client and its all working again.
Any ideas before I downgrade back to an older f/w.

Further to that lst post it was doing it with all my VPN connections. Wireshark gave no clue as to why but it was the same problem on all the connections I tested from this XP machine.
Had to go back to the older working f/w (3.3.1.2_232201) all my VPN connections are happy again.
I will try and raise a ticket with draytek anyway and post back.

I'm seeing exactly the same behaviour on my Vigor 2820Vn running 3.3.2.1_232201.
It only seems to affect certain remote VPN services (I can hold a connection back to my company's VPN for 10+ hours, and site-to-site with other Vigors without any problem, but VPN back to another company - using PPTP - shows these exact symptoms.)
Please let me know the outcome of the ticket - or if you'd like any further details from me to add to the ticket.
I'll now attempt a downgrade...

I raised a ticket with UK support - I'll see what they say tomorrow. I also put the link to this thread in.
The downgrade for me was fine, no problems and everything is back and running again as it should be.

Now running 3.3.1.2_232201 and the problematic VPN connection has been up and running for 40 minutes - something that was impossible with the latest (3.3.2.1_232201) firmware.
Definitely a bug that Support should be fixing; can only keep my fingers crossed that they'll acknowledge it and do something to resolve it!

To the OP - did you raise the ticket, and has there been any response from Draytek on it?
Thanks!
