I wouldn't even know how to log a support ticket in this instance to be honest - this issue is not really something that lends itself to troubleshooting via email. Telephone support would be much more preferable in this instance to attempt to describe the issues!

Well firmware downgrade didn't make any difference.

I've upgraded again to 1.2 FW and logged a support ticket.

I'm not even sure that the issue is with the APs, since clients don't drop connection or anything, it is just that web pages are slow to load, facebook doesn't load all images, and FB messenger will keep giving a network error and try to reconnect.

Also when this happens, trying to connect to the 2860 router on the LAN (via wifi) becomes extremely slow. Can't test connection to the 2860 via wired because my wired server is headless) It could even be something unrelated to the Draytek kit, but looking at the data flow monitor there doesn't appear to be anything untoward going on.

The WAN connection is also solid it seems - no drops at least. I'm using OpenDNS servers for name resolution.

Hopefully get a response from Draytek fairly soon - otherwise all this Draytek kit is going through the window!!!

If you are using a 2860 with the latest firmware have you tried turning "Hardware Acceleration" off as per update instructions?

Yeah, hardware acceleration is always off.

Wired seemed to be ok. Pings of 1ms or less to the router. I need to do more digging because my desktop pings are >1000ms at times, whereas wife's MacBook Pro will do 1ms pings at the same time. I'm wondering if it's related to 5Ghz ac - since her laptop only supports 5ghz n.. plot thickens!

The other devices are all current model iOS devices, so they would be ac too..
