In the last 4 years i have used 2 good Isp's.

http://www.fast.co.uk who are fantastic and http://www.idnet.net , also an excellent provider.

I moved back to Idnet a few months ago as I wanted a Home Office package and the price at fast was too steep for me.

My connection is stable and "always on" without any peak time issues .

Well this needs editing as I found that ADSL2+ LLU was available on my exchange and have been with Xilo/Uno Broadband ( http://www.xilo.net) for over a year now and have to say the service is truly superb.

I've used many and rate PlusNet as the best. I've been migrating all my customers over to them recently too. They're cheap and their support has proved to be far superior than others I've used. You also get commission on referals too.
Their support to the business line is answered very quickly too.
And PlusNet is owned by BT - but they keep that quiet.

I have used Zen for 10 years and they are very reliable but more expensive than many ISPs. However, they do provide me with several fixed IP addresses as part of my package.

I have also used TalkTalk on a second line for about 2 years. They too are very reliable but also cheap. They provide me with cheap telephone calls but no fixed IP addresses.

I do not rely on either ISP for technical support, so I cannot comment on this aspect of their service.
