Has anyone seen speed drops or limitations on the new firmware? Just connected a new 1gbit fibre line, have a 300mbit gfast and 70 mbit vdsl line as well. Everything worked just fine with load balancing. I could saturate all lines to full speed. Since the new 1gbit line is now exposing the router to the internet, I decided to upgrade from an old firmware from 2021 to the latest one from November. Now I can’t pull more than 1gbit across all lines (combined)
I have no idea what is causing it. All bandwidth limits and quota features are turned off. The router is connected via 10gbit to the lan. Anyone got any idea what could be causing it? I am reluctant to downgrade or reset all configs due to an important vpn setup.

Nope no issues like that here. Sounds like you've lost your load balancing. Have you deleted it rebooted the router and then recreated it and rebooted?
There is also a newer version of the firmware released on xmas eve.

The thing is, I have load on both WAN interfaces when manually routing different IPs to specific WANs:
WAN 5 fully saturates at for example 300mbit
WAN 8 sits at 600mbit
I switch off traffic on WAN 5, WAN 8 goes up to 900mbit. When I then push traffic via WAN5, WAN8 drops back down.
I will try to delete all routing rules and see if that changes. Guess I won't get around downgrading the firmware back to 3.9.7.2 and then test again. When I upgraded to 4.4.3.2 I skipped a few releases between 4.3.1.1 and 4.4.3.2, maybe that screwed something up along the line.

Ahh Draytek have hidden away in the readme that you need to up date to the first version of new mainline of the firmware to avoid issues when going from version 3.x.x.x

I went from 3.9.x to 4.3.1, then to 4.3.1.1, got impatient and went straight to 4.4.3.2 and thought I would be safe.
Only now when I go through the older patch notes, it tells you to go to 4.3.2.7 before going to 4.4.3.1 (which I skipped as well), so missed the notes.
I will go back to 3.9.7.2 at the end of the week and then got to 4.1.1 making my way up to 4.3.2.7 and try along the way.
I will report back. When that's not solving it, it feels like there could be a hardware issue with the WAN and/or LAN ports limiting the overall throughput.

Pretty bad of Draytek to hide that sort of information. I only remembered it because I read it when the new version first came out. So when the new version came mainline I double checked to see if that was still true and it was.
At the time I could see people missing it very easily.
