Wireless on Vigor 2860n was created by simon.read
Hello I have a strange problem with a 2860n and wondered if anybody had come across this too.
Today I installed my first 2860n as an upgrade for a customer who got FTTC today and upgrading from ADSL on a 2820n; everything works fine apart from the wireless.
The wireless configuration on the 2860n is exactly the same as the 2820n and when using the 2820n it has and does work fine.
However, when using the 2860n you can connect to the SSID and for a second or two it gets an IP address from the DHCP server (which is running on an SBS 2008 box) and then it drops it.
This does seem to be effecting iPhones (both 4S and 5 with the latest version of iOS installed) but it didn't seem to effect the one Windows Phone they had. I was also able to connect my Windows 7 laptop to the wireless.
Almost looks like a firmware problem, does anyone have any suggestions or experience of this also?
Many thanks
Simon

Unfortunately changing the wireless LAN mode to "Mixed(11b+11g)" doesn't appear to make any difference.

Dammit, that is usually the issue.
Is it on the latest firmware
Is it duel or single band?

Yes I have installed the latest firmware (3.7.1) - the first thing I did, it is single band.
