Hi Guys,

I hope someone can assist, I have been running a 2860n on my BT Infinity circuit for a while now with no issues all runs well, then in the last week and a bit I decided to upgrade my firmware as part of keeping everything updated. so I updated to the following:-

Model Name : Vigor2860n+
Firmware Version : 3.8.2.2_VT3
Build Date/Time : Feb 19 2016 16:53:47
(VDSL2 Firmware Version: 576D17_A/B/C with Vectoring support )

Now since this was done I am regularly getting disconnects occurring, when I quickly check the routers, 'online status>physical connection> I can see the WAN1 status has dropped my PPPoE connection and it then comes up on its own fine without anything being done and reconnects and works, this seems to be happening multiple times over the course of the day, whilst this only lasts a minute or two it does cause issues with RDP sessions and other remote connections, along with a disconnect in anything that we are doing online at that time.

This was not happening before the firmware was upgraded, I even tried the v2860_3822_vector2 firmware and this also did the same thing.

#Any help much appreciated, this is driving me insane.!!

Many Thanks,

Garry

ok, I have now decided to roll back to version:-

Model Name : Vigor2860n+
Firmware Version : 3.8.1_STD
Build Date/Time : Sep 25 2015 11:48:41

I shall see what happens, disappointed with the lack of replies on the forums.

3hrs and 40mins of uptime and zero disconnects with a downgrade to an earlier firmware. so would say that the new firmware is the issue. anyone from Draytek like to make a suggestion or comment?
