3.9.5_BT 2862 firmware constantly rebooting

I tried to upgrade 3.9.5 a few days ago, 2862 didn't restart immediately, but did finally restart, but with 3.9.4.1, I assume this is the backup firmware feature, if it fails with new firmware. Haven't seen this in action before, but looks like that works, phew! :D

Thought maybe a corrupt download, so went to try to download 3.9.5 again, but see its missing.

Then found this thread.

I am not using syslog server, but "Enable Web Syslog" in enabled, if that is relevant?

I will wait for 3.9.5.1

This is `sys ver dbg` from a setup that reverts immediately upon trying to upgrade to 3.9.5.

I've just checked the firmware version for my 2862n and it says 3.9.4.1_Bt. I must have done the same check a while back and it said 3.9.5_Bt so downloaded it with a view to doing the upgrade later, which I did recently, all seems to be working ok, no issues.

So why now does Draytek say, on their .co.uk website the latest version is 3.9.4.1_Bt but on their .com website it's 3.9.5_Bt??
Should I up/downgrade the firmware to 3.9.4.1_Bt or is it safe to adopt a policy of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"?

I think 3.9.5 is/was only a problem if you use syslog

Hi I have circa 150 2862 out in the field NONE using syslog.

upgraded 25ish the other day and 2 failed, one needing a visit to site and a full TFTP reload. The other went "glitchy". the other 23 sites are fine-no rebooting and seem stable (thank goodness).

Surfing with G.Fast at 330MB
