Just for curiosity, I tried the Vigor2862_v3.9.5_STD_en file from the Draytek international site and that upgrade went ok.
Tried upgrading to v2862_395_BT from there and got the reboots and roll back again.
So I then tried the next modem version on the uk site, v2862_395_MDM0, and that upgrade worked fine.

I had v2862_3941BT_779517.all installed and it was all working with no issues. I updated today using v2862_395BT_779517.all and the router kept rebooting. It reverted to 3.9.41 after 3 reboots.

I powered off and back on and installed v2862_395BT_779517.all again and again it kept rebooting. I had to reset to factory to recover it.

After doing the factory reset I installed v2862_395BT_779517.all and it booted up ok. I restored my config backup which had been taken with v2862_3941BT_779517.all installed and it started to keep rebooting again. I did another factory reset, reinstalled v2862_3941BT_779517.all and restored my config backup and it's all working again. So there does appear to be an issue with v2862_395BT_779517.all

Please see my previous posts, faulty product, not working as expected.

Spent a year working on my line stats to get back to more than better speed.

Currently using a AMPLIFI router with a Vigor 130.

2862 went in the fucking bin.

I tried remotely upgrading four 2862's today. All from 3.9.4.1.
Only one failed (an attempt to upgrade that one locally also failed).
The one that failed is the only one of the four running VLANs

Same here - BT 3.9.5 causing constant reboots. after a few minutes the router detected this and rolled itself back to 3.9.3

Hi,

I have also had the multiple reboots and then it fails back to the previous version.

I was supplied various betas to try by Draytek UK as I needed the extra SSID's in managed Wireless AP Profiles.

Funny thing is that the MDM1 version of 3.9.5 installs OK and is stable yet the router refuses to take the BT variant.

I have even tried exporting my config and then resetting to factory defaults and the router still fails to boot with the UK variant even before I have had a chance to restore my config. Back to using MDM1 which works.
