Odd that your last shot shows WAN2 as disconnected.

What happens when you change the 2820 to Obtain an IP address Automatically, remove the DNS Server IP Address and use the Default MAC Address then restart the router and CM?

Well if you're using the mac address of the modem it's going to get upset.
I would set the mac address to default and then tell it too get an ip address automatically.

Hi PIT,

Yes I do agree on what you are saying but when I change the settings to obtain IP address automatically and use default MAC address I do not get any connection what so ever, this is even when I power down the modem and router. Would powering this down both the modem and router for a few minutes make any difference, as I have only powered this down for a few seconds!!!

If you really need to clone a MAC, clone the one from the network card in your PC, but still keep the Obtain P Address Automatically checked. Then you would not need to restart the modem if you moved it from the PC to the router. To find your PC's MAC address, from a command prompt run "ipconfig /all". It is probably also somewhere in the network adaptor properties. Alternatively you can see it when it is connected to the router by looking at the ARP cache in the diagnostics section.

You could try switching off for a few minutes. It won't harm.

Problem with the above the router then will get upset when you plug it into your pc.
Take the mac address of the card in your pc and alter one of the numbers. Remember they're hexadecimal.
