Just noticed these have seemingly arrived in the UK, in stock on Broadbandbuyer in case it’s of interest.

I’ve been toying with whether to get the 3910 or the 2927. I’ve just had gigabit fibre installed and I quickly realised my 2862 wasn’t cutting the mustard, topping out at 150mbps down and up.

3910 expensive and not exactly reassuring to hear there are firmware issues with it! Although to be fair it does look the mutt’s nuts.

2927 looks perfect for me on paper but hope the fact it’s new doesn’t mean it has issues too. Think I’ll bite the bullet and give it (non WiFi model) a go as it seems like it is the only real DrayTek option for GB fibre aside from the 3910.

Me too I think - I'll try the ac wireless version, even though I might not actually use the wireless (yet).

Please report back.
Interesting that it says combined 1800Mbps NAT throughput, 900 on each WAN. How does that work when you can only feed downstream LAN with 1Gbe.
Would two devices plugged into the router be able to pull 900Mbps each?

Will do. I would imagine the full 1800Mbs is available to any device(s) plugged into the 5-port gb switch (minus anything used over wifi). So in theory two devices at 900Mbs, or one device at 1000Mbs, and another at 800Mbs etc.

For me its only one WAN connection of 300Mbps, so hopefully well within its capabilities. Just need to double check it can failover to a usb mobile sim Dongle like my old 2860.

So I just took delivery of a 2927 and installed it; throughput has increased from a limit of 150-200 to 500-600 mbps.

Although this is an improvement, this is still below the advertised and what I know my connection is capable of from a speed test using the ISP-supplied router.

This limit of 500-600 mbps was also mentioned in an Amazon.de review, interestingly.

Anyway, I've logged a ticket with DrayTek to see what they say...

EDIT: ok, my bad, it wasn't an accurate test, I've since had 800mbps+ throughput so all looks good.
