It’s 550Mbps with WCF off, which is the max the line can support until the 1Gbps is enabled, which hasn’t happened yet.

Have never used the WCF myself, but there again I might when/if I get the 2927. MarkPi do you use it in the 3910 (just to see if its a common issue).

After further investigation I've now found that the issue occurs when a Web Content Filter is selected in Firewall -> General Setup -> Default Rule.

I use the Draytek WCF to block certain categories of website and this is what seems to cause the router CPU to be hammered and severely limits the maximum download speed in the speedtest.

The WCF is all set up as per Draytek's guide and, as above, works fine on the older firmware.



That's not really expected behaviour and it's great that you've been able to pin down the cause. Can you contact support to check whether it's an issue or can be improved? The router shouldn't be hitting 90% CPU with just regular internet traffic.
