Yep that sounds very similar to my own experience - thanks for letting us know.
Do you have a service ticket open with Draytek about this? - the more of us that complain the more chance we have of them taking it seriously.

No worries at all. It is the most frustrating problem.
Support ticket has been logged. I've not heard anything from Draytek, I've been told it may take some time.
For your reference, my ticket number is: DQ808695.

Out of interest...do you actually have a G.Fast capable line in the first place?
I don't - and I wonder if this might be a contributing factor to what we're seeing - i.e. we might not have been seeing this with a 2865 model?

I don't have a G.Fast capable line. I'm roughly 636 meters from my exchange and our sleepy little village has only just migrated from 56k modems!
I think the Draytek would melt at the thought of running G.Fast.

Yep, I'm just thinking that maybe the G.Fast capability is causing some difference to the modems presentation in some way and this is causing the speed drops we're seeing... It'll be nigh on impossible to get Draytek to admit that though!

Support sent me v2927_442_RC5 today (v2927_442_RC5_s.all was inside the ZIP file).
They said it will be officially released soon and will hopefully resolve my issue.
